Better Know Who Molds Your Child

As a parent you will have many doubts arising in your mind about the teacher who takes care of your child in your absence. You are not sure about the right way to share your questions with the school administration.

Most of the schools provide their Handbooks, Prospectus or some printed documents having the information on their lunch menus, their rules and regulations, courses they teach, extracurricular activities and their behavioral code. So as a Parent the first job is to study their Handbooks properly and make a proper note. Then once the child returns from school you better confirm the activities actually involved. Prepare a questionnaire for the teacher… and do present it before them whenever there is a “Meet the Teacher night” scheduled in the school. This questionnaire should also include the points about your child’s food allergies, any illness that your child is undergoing and the special care that is to be taken.

These meetings are scheduled especially for the parents to discuss about their children with the teachers. It is very important for you to attend this meeting to know about a person better with whom your child is spending their most precious time. But the teachers are not being able to spend much of their time just with you in these meetings. The reason for this is the class consists of around 25-30 students and they just cannot concentrate only on you. They need to satisfy all of the other parents who have attended the meeting.

If for any reason that you are not able to attend this meeting there are stills ways to communicate and share your issues with the teacher. You can communicate through Telephone, Send an email, visit the school after the school day, take appointment with the school administrator or teacher, write a note to them or can even discuss with other parents and know about the teacher.

So these are the different ways that you can reach the teacher with whom your child interacts and spends most of their time. Always feel free to make visits to the school to make sure your child is well taken care of and is not being neglected in anyway during their developmental phase of their life.
